Rubi Fournier DeJesus, unit manager for Escambia County case management, has been named Team Member of the Quarter for FamiliesFirst Network!
Rubi never settles when it comes to engaging with parents and helping them along the steps to reunification. Her commitment extends equally to her team members, as she achieves near-perfect punctuality in completing supervisory reviews of cases.
Rubi was instrumental in the development and deployment of a new supervisory review tool. In the high-stress environment of child welfare, Rubi remains a positive force not only for her staff, but for her clients as well, going so far as to ensure their goals are met even if it takes years of working with them.
Katy McHenry, who nominated Rubi for this award, shared, “In child welfare, stressful things happen on a daily basis. Rubi stays positive for her staff. Every single week, Rubi is a high or the highest performer on unit performance outcomes.”
Her dedication and high standards earned her recognition as a 2024 Rising Star by Inweekly newspaper. Thank you, Rubi, for embodying FamiliesFirst Network’s mission, vision and values.
