Pensacola is home to one of the state’s top women-led businesses. LifeView Group ranked No. 8 on this year’s “Top 100 Women-Led Businesses in Florida” by The Women’s Edge. The list includes nonprofit and for-profit organizations whose leaders are among the highest-ranking female executives in the Florida marketplace.

Allison Hill, LifeView Group’s chief executive officer, is responsible for the daily functions of the $230 million human services nonprofit. The organization has an impact in 14 states and the District of Columbia through three affiliates: Lakeview Center’s behavioral health care, FamiliesFirst Network’s child welfare support and Global Connections to Employment’s career services for people with disabilities. In 2023, LifeView Group impacted more than 32,000 lives.

“Across the organization, we see that perspective and diversity of thought make for a strong team and bring enormous benefits to the people we serve,” said Hill. “What I love most about my role is the team I work with. When you bring a group of people together focused on our mission of ‘helping people,’ we can make the extraordinary ordinary each and every day.”

Hill prioritizes transparency and makes information easily accessible for the large and diverse team of 2,500 employees. She shares “selfie videos” monthly and offers unscripted “Ask Allison” sessions several times each year. Under Allison’s leadership, the organization’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Team focuses on creating a welcoming and inclusive environment, such as employee resource groups to encourage collaboration with veterans, remote workers and intergenerational employees to name a few. Employee resource groups highlight a broad array of opportunities for team members across the organization to connect with those who share interests and have faced similar challenges.

Hill joined the organization in January 1999, and in 2016, she took the helm as the third chief executive officer in the organization’s long history. Hill serves in the UWF Executive Mentoring program and on the UWF College of Business Advisory Council. In 2022, she was inducted into the UWF College of Business Hall of Fame. She is a Lifetime Member of Leadership Florida, graduating from Cornerstone Class 36, and is a recipient of the 2022 Pinnacle Award from 850 Business Magazine. Hill is a member of the Rotary Club of Pensacola and serves on local and statewide boards of directors, including the YMCA of Northwest Florida and the Florida Network of Youth and Family Services. In 2023, Hill was honored with the Ethics in Business Award by the University of West Florida College of Business and Combined Rotary Club
