DeFuniak Springs, Fla. (August 13, 2025)-The FamiliesFirst Network service center in DeFuniak Springs is reaching out with a special request and we need your help! As the new school year begins, many children in our care need new backpacks.

We are asking our community to come together and support this effort by donating new backpacks. A new backpack can do more than carry school supplies. It can help a child feel confident, prepared and supported. That sense of stability is especially important for the kids we serve, and your donation can make a real difference.

How You Can Help:

1. Shop Our Amazon Wish List: We’ve added a variety of backpack options to make giving easy. Just choose the backpack you want to purchase from our list, and it will be delivered straight to the DeFuniak Springs service center.

2. Drop Off Donations: If you prefer to give in-person, we welcome drop-offs Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the following location:
